Cloud security companies

Platforms that find and prioritize risk across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Kubernetes.

What to look for

In one cloud exposure dataset Verizon analyzed for its 2026 report, 37% of organizations had an administrator account with MFA turned off on an infrastructure-as-a-service platform.1 Cloud security platforms look for exposures like that, along with vulnerable workloads and exposed data, across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. They differ mainly in how they collect data. Agentless scanning reads cloud APIs and storage snapshots from outside and takes little work to deploy. Runtime sensors run inside the environment and show what is executing, which helps rank findings. Marketplace prices for these platforms are usually set by the number of workloads covered.
